__Storm Grinders - Mission Overhaul__
A brutal lightning storm is sweeping across Stopan, meaning it&rsquo;s the perfect time to do some Storm Grinding! All pathfinders know that Storm Grinding is one of the most effective ways of collecting Stopinium, and the mission has been overhauled with that in mind.

As per the T&Cs of your employment, you&rsquo;ll be working with heavy equipment during incredibly fierce electrical storms. So whatever you do, don&rsquo;t forget to dodge the lightning bolts (and robots) while working those drills. After all, cleaning up the fried remains of careless workers is a huge financial drain that we could do without. Fortunately, Storm Grinding is an activity you don&rsquo;t need a license for, and running over robots over won&rsquo;t result in any fines. Go big or go home, as they say.

__Contract Log__
A true Pathfinder knows that contracts are of pivotal importance to those looking to fill their coffers. Thus, we&rsquo;ve modernized the contract systems to ensure the experience is smoother than ever! You will be able to monitor your progress on a mission on a convenient display and receive prompts when a mission is finished. Plus, reminders will show up when you&rsquo;re in the lobby, so there are no more excuses for not delivering on your contracts. And no, waking up on an uncharted asteroid alone with a leisure bot and no obvious means of transportation after a night of excessive merriment is not an acceptable excuse!

__Simplified Party Flow__
Sorting out a party with friends or temporary allies has never been easier. You can now see people in your current hub, and even see players you were recently on a mission with. While we were at it, we also slicked up the interface a tad. Anything for y&rsquo;all and your BFFs x

__Visual Gear Improvements__
Where there&rsquo;s money there&rsquo;s also regulations, and Devil's Gambit is no exception. To avoid the ire of those pesky inspectors, vault and upgrader displays have been tweaked so you can now you can tell what rarity an item is based on its color. And yes, Fame Road is all purple now. Loving it!

__Crafting__
The workshop has had a tune-up - we&rsquo;re talking tooltips, icons, descriptions, all the small stuff that needed a loving touch. Additionally, everything you can work with there has been organized into a separate inventory tab so you can easily access and review it. A tidy desk means a tidy mind!

__Heroes and Hero Avatars__
Out with the old and in with the new! In order to show off each character in their absolute bestest light, we've updated their portraits. Not only do the team look absolutely splendid, but our motley crew have also been taking extra gym classes between missions meaning they now move with more confidence, smoothness and, dare we say, grace. They&rsquo;re gonna look FABULOUS on the dancefloor!

Patch Notes - Update 3: The Friendly One

## Features & Improvements:

### Crafting System
- Crafting has been overhauled to make bigger, better, meaner weapons and armor.
- Crafting parts have been replaced by &lsquo;BITs&rsquo; &ndash; y&rsquo;know, the bits and pieces that make your gun bigger. Pew pew!
- BITs have rarities, and there is one BIT per type of weapon and armor.
- Batteries have been added to the crafting system. Juice it up, baby!
- Depending on the rarity of the battery, you may get additional software slots when crafting weapons.
- Software further improves the stats of a crafted weapon.
- Hardware has been added that gives crafted weapons unique functionality, such as added damage or faster reloading.

### Punch Cards
- Blueprints have been removed and replaced with punch cards!
- Punch cards are now unlockable via a special tab at the Crafting Vendor.
- Unlocking a punch cards requires either resources or the completion of certain tasks.
- Punch cards are now upgradable.
- Upgrading punch cards takes time and resources. But it increases their starting power and rarity, so it&rsquo;s worth it!

### Upgrader
- A 3D weapon preview has been added to the Upgrader screen.
- Upgrading has a cool new animation. Swanky!
- A weapon's upgrading animation now changes based on how often it has been upgraded in the past. Whoa!
- The power level improvement on upgraded items is now more clearly communicated.

### Players Feedback
- Elite enemies now appear more frequently and earlier in the game.
- Finn&rsquo;s health has been increased.
- The damage of Finn&rsquo;s Rocket Rain skill has improved.
- Finn&rsquo;s Rocket Rain and Swine Magnetism skills have been switched (Rocket Rain is now unlocked at Level 1).

### Economy Rebalance
- Character levels now have a new XP threshold.
- There is a rare new resource used in the crafting and upgrading systems.
- The prices for crafting and upgrading systems have been adjusted.
- Elite enemies drop more sweet, sweet loot!
- There are new rewards for Daily and Weekly Contracts.

### Talents in-Mission Visualization
- Triggered talents will be visible on the mission HUD, along with their durations and cooldowns.
- Talents now have additional VFX.

### Space Station Improvements
The Space Station now has new and improved lighting, NPC animations and assorted assets.

### Crash fixes:
The game will no longer freeze on the Claim Rewards screen.
The game will also no longer crash when trying to load into the mission "A Safe Teleportation".

Fixed a crash when idling in the Main Menu during Maintenance.
Fixed a crash that could happen when loading into a grinding mission as a duo.
Fixed a crash caused when Maintenance Mode started.
Fixed a crash that could occur when scrapping items in the Vault.

### General:
- The notification for ongoing/upcoming Maintenance shown on the Main Menu no longer has a delay before it is displayed.
- Players will now receive the expected "Ongoing Maintenance" notification after getting kicked to the Main Menu during Maintenance Mode.
- We once again say "Thank you for purchasing a Founder's Pack" again, because you can't put a price on good manners.
- Lots of equipment mods now have their icons, description and titles.
- There is a visual indicator when a player unlocks a new skill.
- The default Cursor Sensitivity for a freshly installed game is now set to 50% (was 30%).
- Players can no longer bind two different keys for Sprinting.
- Fixed an issue where interacting with a vendor while dashing could cause Bob to stay invisible for other players.
- The game's music now properly restarts after the player has exited the Credits.
- Barks and other SFX are no longer audible when viewing the Credits in the Hub or during a mission.

### Gameplay:
- The Twins&rsquo;s firing SFX is no longer weird.
- The Tank Boss's SFX is now properly inaudible when the Master Volume is set to 0.
- Ultimate Skill sound effects are now properly muted when Master Volume is set to 0.
- Fixed the VFX for Duke's Cluster Missiles synergy ability.
- Finn's second Synergy ability now has the right hero icon.
- The "Pep-u-up" and "Shot of Courage" talent items now have proper icons.
- The "Upgrader" Fame Road unlock now has a description.
- The "Earth-Shattering Kaboom!" talent item now works correctly.
- The "I'm Invincible" and "Mad Skills" talents now work, and also have correct descriptions.
- The "Vitality", "Refreshed" and "Enhanced Eyesight" talents now have correct stats.

- Players can no longer be invited to the party they are already in.
- Cancelling an upgrade in the Upgrader no longer closes the Vendor.
- There is now a confirmation message after successfully crafting an item.
- Companions will no longer disappear and reappear when the player is at a vendor.
- Various challenge icons have been updated with the correct art.
- NPC icons are now the same size as the vendor icons in the Hub.
- The Premium Store mini-map icon went missing, but has been found again.

### Missions:
- Players will no longer get stuck at the start of some missions while in a party.
- Party member shields are no longer randomly displayed as being empty.
- Players can now always pick up meat in the "Fresh Meat" mission.
- Players now properly unlock the punch card for the Bullet Spewer after completing the mission "Smashing Time".
- The correct number of enemies now appear during the "Purge, For Science" mission.
- The Cooler HP bars now properly disappear after they've been successfully defended.
- Grinding mission enemy spawns and power level now better match the player(s).
- The XP bonuses on the Summary Screen now have tooltips.
- There are now an appropriate amount of tooltips on the Summary Screen.

Patch Notes - Update 2: The Crafty One

## Features & Improvements

### Talents
You can now develop the talents of your characters. A total of 126 talents are available, including 28 item talents. The talent tree is divided into three branches:

- Soldier (offensive)
- Scavenger (utility)
- Survivor (defensive)

As you level up, you gain talent points. Use them to unlock the full potential of your characters.

When you log in for the first time after the update, you will notice that all your old talent items have been removed. Please don't be sad - they were trash anyway. Luckily these new ones work like a charm.

### Gear Upgrade System
Is there a weapon you like, but its power level is too low? We understand your pain. Fortunately, there is now a solution!

Now you can upgrade your gear on the Workbench at the Black Market. It&rsquo;s not free, obviously, but you need to spend your hard-earned resources somewhere, so why not chuck them all on upgrading your favorite items?

Please keep in mind that items can be upgraded only a limited number of times, so you will eventually have to move onto more powerful gear.

### Companions Are Back!
Great news - beginning today, companions will be able to operate on all planets in Hoardspace.

You can equip your companion at the nearest Premium Store.

### Players Respawn Improvements
Teleportation is relatively safe. We admit there might have been some cases of users materializing inside a rock or an object... look, let's not start pointing fingers. We're hoping the problem has now been resolved.

### Space Station Changes
Here&rsquo;s a list of changes:
- The Space Station teleport location has changed.
- Some vendors have moved:
- Virgil
- Dr. Lugebelenus
- Vault Support
- Gigs Galaxy
- Vendors now have ambient music. Dancing is encouraged.
- New props have added: departure board, bench, tables, chairs, neon lights.
- Light and colors are more natural. It&rsquo;s all about the mood.

### Nickname Visibility
We know how important it is to show off your nickname, and from now on a player's nickname will display over the vendor's description.

### New Summary Screen
We have revamped the Summary Screen. And we're not stopping there - expect more changes in the next update.

### Bug Fixes

### Crash fixes:
- Fixed a possible crash when trying to load into the mission &lsquo;A Safe Teleportation&rsquo;.
- We also fixed a possible crash to desktop after entering the main menu.
- Fixed a possible crash when restarting the Mining Facility mission in a party of four players.
- Fixed a possible crash when loading the mission &lsquo;Fresh Meat&rsquo;.
- Fixed a possible server crash caused by a large number of simultaneous player connections.
- Fixed a possible crash when the player started a mission after the maintenance countdown was displayed.

- Companions no longer cause the game to lag (which resulted in the player being kicked back to the Hub).
- Fixed an issue where players couldn't enter the Hub or missions without restarting the game.

- Fixed an issue where players accepting invites from parties waiting in lobbies were unable to join.
- Fixed an issue where players were sometimes unable to log in when using a slow/mobile connection or a VPN.
- Players should now no longer get stuck on the Summary Screen or the Reward Screen.
- Players no longer have to press the Accept button for Reward chests (pressing the assigned key/button is now enough!).
- Controller vibration intensity settings in Options now correctly apply.
- Players can now accept or dismiss a friend's invitation via the Epic Games Launcher after exiting the game.
- All redundant audio option checkboxes have been removed.
- The Invite option is no longer displayed in the Epic overlay when playing in a full party.
- Players should no longer randomly get stuck at start of a mission when in a party.
- The tutorial now displays 'Connecting to server' and not 'Waiting for players&rsquo; while in the pre-mission lobby (since it's a single-player-only mission!).
- Fixed an issue where sending invites to 4+ people could create a party without the inviting player.
- Party leaders should now get feedback messages from invited players when forming a party fails.
- Fixed an issue where weapons appeared behind the player for a moment when sprinting.
- The screen resolution of 1280x800 will no longer disappear from the display settings after selecting it and reloading the interface.
- The last player in the party no longer has a default avatar from the perspective of the rest of party members.
- The shadow cast by the default/Cyberpig/Soldier Finn skins no longer flickers on the Hub's floor when &lsquo;Shadows Quality&rsquo; is set to low.

### Gameplay:
- Missing gear type names have been added.
- The Hacking minigame now uses the correct movement control mapping (and not just the cursor keys).
- Enemy collisions are no longer misaligned when pulled by Finn's Nanolock.
- Companions picking up a medkit no longer prevent players from picking up any others that have dropped.
- Companions are now more responsive!
- Loot picked up by companions now disappears immediately.
- Flamers and D-Guns can no longer deal damage to a Boomer with its shell closed.
- Melee attacks and Heavy Hits are now performed in the direction in which the right stick is aiming.

### Hub:
- Players will no longer lose their HUD when returning to the Hub.
- The Scrap Value tooltips are now displayed correctly.
- Placeholder icons are no longer shown when placing Talent Items in the Talent slots.
- Software crafting parts no longer have placeholder icons.
- Inspection now shows what resources are given from scrapping.
- Display issues with nicknames and vendor bubbles have been fixed.
- The Star Map mission icons and legend are now more consistent.
- Talent items now properly round their allocated stats to the nearest whole number.
- Fixed an issue where previewing the Epic Entrance item would disable button SFX in all menus, and with vendors and NPCs.
- The timed mission timer will now automatically reset when it runs out.
- Locked skills now have icons in the Skills interface.
- The &lsquo;Thank you for buying Founders Pack&rsquo; now displays correctly.
- Fixed various spots with invisible collision issues in the Space Station.
- The Contract requiring players to open 300 Loot Crates has been reworded for clarity.
- Some item and store spellings have been corrected and updated to US English.

### Missions:
- Fixed the invisible collision on a bridge in the mission &lsquo;Restart the Mining Facility&rsquo;.
- An objective in the mission Blood Harvest now displays correctly.
- Fixed some issues where the player could get stuck due to missing nav-mesh.
- The strength of enemies is now increased accordingly when playing on Hard or Hardcore difficulty.
- Fixed a possible timeout when joining a mission.
- The difficulty setting is no longer applied at random when queueing for a grinding mission as a solo player (resulting in players being matched with others who selected different difficulties).
- The Toxic Geyser has a red damage range marker again.
- The repaired shuttle is no longer duplicated upon objective completion.
- The &lsquo;Pick Up&rsquo; prompt for batteries and cables will no longer be displayed twice.
- Beast Mode is no longer failed due to one participant getting downed.
- Destroyed cooler objectives now have VFX.
- Coolers will now lower when attacked and raise back up once the area is safe.
- The Fame Widget no longer shows the same Fame amount for all players.
- Fixed the missing and mismatched NPC voice lines in the mission &lsquo;The Airflow&rsquo;.
- Removed the &lsquo;A Safe Teleportation&rsquo; seed that had an unusually small groups of enemies.
- Players can no longer bump into other players that have already confirmed extraction.
